A friend recommended the product, and after swapping some emails with Scott, we determined that the Hyper 3 was the best answer for me. It has ended up being the perfect size for my 1-hour to all-day mtb rides. It has been on every MTB ride with me since I purchased it, and I feel almost naked with out it. I had a hanging loop attached to the top (to hang on a hook at home between rides), and a small clip attched to the top inside, identical to the one that holds the bladder (to hang small envelope bags and car key up out of harm's way).
The bag is astonishingly light and waterproof...and durable... and comfortable. To make it perfect, I would add the items I've already had done (The hanging loop is MANDATORY), plus:
* Internal fabric tube to hold a pump upright
* A couple of internal pockets so everything doesn't just end up in a heap at the bottom.
* A plastic clip inside each slash pocket to hold key, small light, first aid envelope - again to keep everything from just being in one heap at the bottom.
I LOVE this bag, and if I lost it, I'd buy a new replacement in an instant. I have simply never seen a nicer bag anywhere. It is my best friend on the trail. I adjusted it the first day, and haven't changed anything since. I keep thinking that I should fuss with it and make it better, but it just fits perfectly. I now cringe when I see everybody else's pack swaying all over the place on climbs and such. Great equipment like this is hard to come by. I'm glad I found you!
